To make 3D prints successfully you need to model the stuff that you want to print, for that we have some good SketchUp plugins to set you up with.

Solid inspector is a great plugin for SketchUp that scans your models and looks for holes. Every model that you want to 3D print needs to be watertight so that printing programs can interpret it correctly.
